Why The Bulls Could Cover The Spread

The Bulls are 20-21-1 against the spread. Furthermore, they are 4-2 when they have more rest than their opponent. The Bulls are 8-11 on the road against the spread this season.

The Bulls need their best players to step up. Ultimately, DeRozan is their best player, averaging 22 points per game while shooting 46.4 percent from the field. LaVine is averaging 20 points per game. Additionally, White is averaging 18.5 points per game. Vucevic is averaging 16.8 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Caruso is averaging 9.8 points per game while shooting 49 percent from the field, including 41.5 percent from beyond the arc. The Bulls may be without Patrick Williams in this game.

They must avoid making the critical mistakes that doomed them against the Cavaliers. Ultimately, it all boils down to mistakes and turnovers. The Bulls need to stop being so reckless with the basketball. Also, they need to find a way to hit their shots. Their shooting is poor right now and it is the biggest reason they are struggling right now.

The Bulls will cover the spread if their top players can hit their shots from all over the floor. Then, they need to avoid making mistakes, and they must stop turning the ball over.

Why The Raptors Could Cover The Spread

The Raptors are pretty much in a similar position as last season. Unfortunately, they are on the outside, looking in, attempting to pick up steam as the season reaches its halfway mark. The Raptors are also in a stretch where they have struggled. Ultimately, they entered the Miami game, having gone 3-7 over 10 games. The Raptors need their best players to step up.

Pascal Siakam was their best player. But he is gone now. Now, the Raptors will rely on everyone else to pick up the slack. Bruce Brown Jr. is part of the deal. However, it is unknown if he will play in this game. The Raptors have been the king of trades so far this season. Ultimately, they have pulled off some stunners.

The Raptors shocked everyone when they traded OG Anunoby to the New York Knicks for RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickly. Overall, it's been a mixed bag so far. The Raptors hope both can bring their best in this showdown with the Bulls. It will be interesting to see what they do.

The Raptors will cover the spread if they can convert on their shooting attempts. Then, they need to defend the rim and also get rebounds.
