Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner made franchise history in their Monday Night Football showdown with the Los Angeles Rams, and it's one fans haven't seen in more than 60 years.

Conner scored his first touchdown of the contest late in the second quarter, helping Arizona cut the Rams' lead to just 13-10 heading into the half. In the process, he became the first Cardinals player since John David Crow (1959-60) to have seven straight games with at least one TD. It is also the franchise record for most touchdowns in a row, with the 26-year-old RB joining Crow and Mal Kutner (1947-48) for the milestone.

Even making it more amazing, John Conner is the first Cardinals player in the Super Bowl era to score a rushing or receiving touchdown in seven games in a row, per FOX Sports.

Here's a look at Conner's record-breaking TD for the Cardinals:

Prior to Monday's showdown with the Rams, Conner has already scored 12 touchdowns for the Cardinals. He has been a threat both on the ground and on air, making him a difficult player to stop for opposing defenses.

Against the Rams, he certainly showed just that. He added another rushing touchdown to his tally late in the fourth quarter, muscling his way through the Rams defense to the endzone.

With the way he's playing, it won't be a surprise to see James Conner break the record when they play the Detroit Lions in Week 15.
