The Arizona Cardinals gave the San Francisco 49ers a tightly contested matchup during their 36-26 loss until they unravelled a bit towards their end.

After the game, Kyler Murray expressed that he's ‘used to winning' and that it's ‘disappointing' that the team managed to lose despite holding a lead. He expressed that his competitiveness makes it so all he can do is leave it all on the field, but the team came up short.

“I’m used to winning,” Murray said, via Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com. “I’ve always won, and then being in situations like when you go up 16 or you’re in position to win and you should win, it’s disappointing.”

“I'm a competitor. I love the game of football so every time I step on the field I'm going to do me. I'm going to go hard for the guys in the locker room. So, that's really all I can do. Leave it all on the field and we just came up short.”

Murray ended his performance against the 49ers with a total of 150 passing yards and two touchdowns after completing 24 of his 33 pass attempts. He also added 67 rushing yards on just eight carries along with a rushing touchdown. He displayed the dual-threat potential that made him the top overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

While the Cardinals may have a 3-7-1 record, they have shown real flashes of potential as a team. They should be alright if they manage to continue to add talent around Murray and bolster their defense in the offseason and over the next few years.

The Cardinals take on the Los Angeles Rams at State Farm Stadium in Week 12.
