Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has picked up the reputation of a dirty player but Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald doesn't think that was his intent on Sunday. A video started to circulate on Tuesday showing what appeared to be Suh sticking his hand into Fitzgerald's facemask, maybe even trying to poke his eye.

Fitzgerald took to Twitter on Wednesday defending Suh saying the two have known eachother since his college days and it was just a friend “clowning around.”

It's good to hear this is the case because Suh has been a lot of hot water during his NFL career and the last thing he needs is another story which puts him in a bad light. It's good to see that Fitzgerald is still having fun on the football field and on Sunday he did something he hadn't done yet in his career, throw a touchdown pass.

“I guess it's like a layup in basketball: You can't miss it,” Fitzgerald said via ESPN. “I wanted to put a little air on it, and it came out a little wobbly. It looked like a [Kurt] Warner ball right there, but just as Kurt Warner's was, it was effective.”

After the game rookie quarterback, Josh Rosen was asked about who had the better touchdown and Rosen admitted on Sunday it was Fitzgerald.

“Today? Larry,” Rosen said. “I haven't thrown one in a couple games. No, that was awesome. I think Larry was even a little surprised on that, but it was cool to watch.”
