The Arizona Cardinals, down 21-7, were in desperate need of a big play after the San Francisco 49ers managed to create some separation. Fortunately, quarterback Kyler Murray and receiver Keesean Johnson were able to oblige.

Murray was able to find Johnson for a nine-yard touchdown to cut the deficit to 21-14, via NFL Twitter:

The Cardinals offense and Kyler Murray were expected to have its work cut out trying to put some points up against this formidable 49ers defense. They endured their fair share of struggles after a promising opening drive that resulted in a touchdown. Fortunately, it appears they have finally managed to get back on track.

Meanwhile, this is the first touchdown of the 2019 NFL season for Johnson. The rookie has largely played a modest role in the passing attack thus far, however, plays like these certainly help to make his case for an increase in targets. Arizona will certainly need all the help they can get on offense if they hope to secure a potential comeback.
