The Boston Celtics are slowly starting to get their groove back. That manifested itself in a big way against the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night, when they dropped 145 points in regulation time.

The scoring barrage was bookended by a flurry of threes coming from fan favorite Peyton Pritchard. The diminutive reserve guard got his teammate up off the Celtics bench with his third three with just over a minute left to play.

The unruly reaction garnered a technical foul for improper bench decorum with the game completely out of hand. Celtics head coach Ima Udoka was happy with the win, but was less than pleased about the extra-curricular activity on the sidelines.

Via Celtics reporter Mark Murphy:

“Got a little out of hand to some extent with our guys getting over-zealous and getting a technical. I told them in the locker room to keep that professional.”

Udoka also apologized to Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups after the game for how his Celtics squad behaved while blowing out their opponents on their own home floor.

Technical foul aside, the Celtics have won six of their last nine games and are now two over .500 on the season. At just a half game out of the sixth seed, they're in prime position to rise in the standings should they keep the momentum rolling.
