When the playoffs start, the Boston Celtics know that they will be locked into the number two seed so they have decided to rest players. They currently sit three games behind the Toronto Raptors with three games remaining but the Raptors own the tiebreaker.

The Celtics could win out and the Raptors could lose out, but the Raptors would still have the number one seed. They are also 4.5 games ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers who sit in the 3rd spot in the conference.

The Celtics will take on the Chicago Bulls on Friday night, and they will be really shorthanded.

Al Horford and Jayson Tatum will both be out on a designated rest night. The starting lineup for the game tonight will probably be Jaylen Brown, Marcus Morris, Aron Baynes, Terry Rozier and probably Shane Larkin.

Larkin has missed the last three games because of illness but is expected to be active again in this game. Look for him to draw a ton of minutes and play a key role in tonight's game.

For the Bulls, they are in tank mode and it really benefits them to actually lose this game. It could make for a game filled with a lot of poor play, and both teams really struggling to get much going at all.
