Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens expects Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum and Marcus Smart to be healthy and ready once training camp begins.

Walker, Tatum, Smart along with Jaylen Brown represented Team USA in the recently concluded FIBA World Cup in China. While some expected that the four will take their time and rest first before participating in training camp, it seems that won't be the case at all.

Interestingly, Walker appears excited to get things started with his new team, with Stevens claiming they see the All-Star point guard “almost every day.”

In another bit of good news, Stevens also anticipates no issues from Tatum, who injured his ankle while on international duty.

Despite losing two key players in Kyrie Irving and Al Horford this offseason, The Celtics are still expected to compete at a high level in 2019-20. They replaced Irving with Walker and Horford with Enes Kanter.

Moreover, Boston signed EuroLeague standout Vincent Poirier to provide them with some much-needed depth in the frontcourt.

Walker and Smart re expected to lead the Celtics and be the voice in the locker room. On the other hand, Tatum and Brown are predicted to continue their development and take the next step as Boston eyes another deep postseason run.
