Boston Celtics star Gordon Hayward is set to return to the starting lineup against the Orlando Magic after being rested against the New York Knicks last Saturday.
Hayward was sidelined against the Knicks as it was the second game of a back-to-back for Boston. However, Scott Souza of Providence Journal reports that the 28-year-old forward will start against the Magic, though still on a minutes restriction.
#Celtics Brad Stevens: Gordon Hayward will play tonight, still on minute restriction. Hayward will start.

Hayward has been limited to just 25 minutes per game this season, and that will continue against Orlando, per Jay King of The Athletic.
Aron Baynes felt pretty good today. Ran with 70 percent of his body weight. Marcus Morris had a little knee flare up, but nothing long term. Gordon Hayward good to go for his usual 25 minutes.

Hayward started in their opening night win against the Philadelphia 76ers and in their 113-101 loss to the Raptors in the following game. He has averaged 12.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals and an assist through the two games he played in this season.
The Celtics are set to miss Aron Baynes due to a right hamstring strain while Marcus Morris is a game-time decision as he recovers from a left knee soreness, so Hayward's return — without any setback — is a welcome boost to the team.
