The Boston Celtics lost a shocker against the Detroit Pistons. To add another blow to the defeat, Jaylen Brown sustained a finger injury that makes his status unknown for the second half of their back-to-back game.

However, according to Jared Weiss of The Athletic, Brown is confident his in jury is not that serious and that he should be able to return to the roster sooner rather than later.
Jaylen Brown says he sprained his right thumb running into Markieff Morris.
“I don’t think it’s too bad.”
Will see how it feels in the AM, but sounds like he expects to play.

Brown had a great game and was one of the Celitcs' few bright spots. He finished with 24 points, 12 rebounds, and two assists with a 63 percent shooting clip.
He and Gordon Hayward — who also had a fantastic outing with his 25 points, seven rebounds, one assist and two steals –were the only decent performers against the Pistons.
In Boston's defense, they had to play without Jayson Tatum. With their scoring being limited, they had to make do with what they got. Unfortunately, not a lot of players in the Celtics roster managed to contribute.
It remains to be seen if Jaylen Brown will be able to return when they take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday. However, his absence would be a massive blow to a team that has struggled with consistency in recent games.
