Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum once again unleashed his deadly side-step jumper to put away the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday.

Peep the clip below to witness Tatum's nasty signature move against CJ McCollum. Props to McCollum for staying in front of the swingman, but Tatum has perfected that shot. No one can stop him once the moment he decides to unveil it.

While 7.8 seconds is a lot of time, the Blazers seemed to have been stunned by Tatum's dagger. They fell short and the Celtics came out with the win, 116-115. Tatum led all scorers with 32 points, to go along with nine rebounds, and five assists.

Below is a closer look at Tatum's side-step jumper. Earlier in his career and even up to now, the Celtics All-Star has been compared to the late and great Kobe Bryant. Tatum has a penchant for those perimeter shots off the dribble or in the post. But this season, Tatum seems to be developing his own arsenal of offensive tricks. The side-step jumper has been his favorite offensive weapon to get that space.

When James Harden made the step-back move popular almost all kids and aspiring pros spammed the heck out of the move. Now, with Tatum's rise, don't be surprised to see kids trying to emulate the Celtics star's side-step jumper.
