Boston Celtics star point guard Kyrie Irving did not have the most outstanding of performances on Friday, as the former NBA champ logged only 13 points on 6-of-15 shooting. He did drop a game-high 12 assists, though, and this proved to be enough to help guide his team to a 107-96 win against the Washington Wizards.

Despite a rather pedestrian evening — by his high standards, of course — there was one particular play wherein Irving's amazing offensive prowess was on full display. The 26-year-old showed off his unmatched handles, which left three Wizards defenders helpless:

Despite his low scoring output on the evening, Irving played the role of the team's floor general and was able to lead his team to a home victory against Washington. The 6-foot-3 point guard was highly efficient in his play-making throughout the contest, turning over the ball just once in 34 minutes of play.

It was a total team effort for the Celtics as no less than seven players scored in double digits in this one, including Jaylen Brown and Daniel Theis, who both came off the Boston bench.

As for the Wizards, it was Bradley Beal yet again that led the charge for the John Wall-less side, as he dropped a game-high 29 points on 12-of-23 shooting, along with four three-pointers, 11 rebounds, six assists, two steals, a block, and three turnovers. Unfortunately, it would all be in vain as the Wizards proved no match to the C's in this particular matchup.

Irving and company are off on Saturday, but will be back in action on Sunday as they take on the Houston Rockets. It will be a tough evening defensively, as they will have a crack at trying to defend the league's most potent scorer in James Harden.
