Patrick Mahomes' fiancee, Brittany Matthews, finally breaks her silence about recent rumors that the Kansas City Chiefs QB has asked her and his brother to stop attending games in the 2022 season.

Matthews called out the haters, replying to a tweet on how it has become the ā€œcool thing to doā€ to criticize her. Matthews shared her bewilderment on ā€œhow something like that can become coolā€ in this day and age.

For those not in the know, the rumor started when former New England Patriots player and current Fox Sports Radio host Rich Ohrnberger tweeted that Patrick Mahomes had a sitdown with his fiancee Brittany Matthews and brother Jackson Mahomes, claiming that the Chiefs superstar believes the two has become a ā€œdistractionā€ and that ā€œtheir sideline antics are bad for his brand.ā€

Of course the rumor is already dubious to begin with, and naturally, multiple sites refuted the claims made by Ohrnberger. Even Mahomes himself had to speak out to address the issue, directly calling it fake news that is all made up.

Ohrnberger has since deleted his tweets, though there is no going back from it now given how quickly it has been picked up by multiple news outlets.

Clearly, the rumor doesn't have much legs to stand on with both Mahomes and Matthews denying it.
