While the Kansas City Chiefs were able to take the win against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, it wasn't the best outing for Patrick Mahomes.
The Chiefs escaped the Dolphins' grasp with a narrow 33-27 victory, which has a lot to do with Mahomes' inefficiency at times with the ball.
In light of that, the former MVP expressed his gratitude to his teammates on Twitter following the win.
Appreciate my dogs having my back today! Good team win! #AFCWestChamps #ChiefsKingdom

Patrick Mahomes was able to muster up 393 yards along with two touchdowns against the Dolphins, which is normal for him on any given day. Where his performance became a bit worrisome is through his overall precision. Completely out of his norm, Mahomes threw three interceptions on Sunday, although he was able to complete 70.6 percent of his passes.
He was also was the victim of a 30-yard sack by Jerome Baker–the longest sack in NFL history as well. He had thrown an interception on the prior drive for the Chiefs.
Coming into Sunday, Mahomes had only thrown two interceptions for the entire season. With that in mind, no one's exactly ready to scratch him off the list given his overall formidability. He was up against the Dolphins, who actually rank fifth in the league in interceptions.
Mahomes was also adamant of the fact that the Hard Rock Stadium has bought him some of his best and worst moments of his career and that Sunday will be no different in that regard.
I have a love/hate relationship with Hard Rock stadium! 😂😂😂

Leaving Sunday behind, the Chiefs have only three games remaining in the season. They currently sit atop of the AFC standings as the regular season draws to a close.
