Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce says Los Angeles Clippers superstar small forward Kawhi Leonard is already a top-30 player of all time.

Leonard has won two Finals MVPs with two different teams — the San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors. He's also a three-time All-Star and two-time Defensive Player of the Year.

Pierce says Leonard has nowhere to go but up in the all time ranks. If Leonard can guide the Clippers to their first-ever championship this upcoming season, his résumé will be the stuff of legends.

“I mean, he's already up there with the all time greats based on this last year's performance,” Pierce said on ESPN's The Jump. “He has nowhere but up to go. He's still young. He's still in his prime. Kawhi is already in my eyes a top probably like 30 player of all time.”

Last season with the Raptors, Leonard averaged 26.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists during the regular season. He guided the Raptors to the championship over the Golden State Warriors in six games. It was Toronto's first title in franchise history.

For his career, Leonard has averages of 17.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 467 games with the Spurs and Raptors. Everyone in Los Angeles is eager to watch Leonard and Paul George play together and try and lead the Clippers to the promised land.
