Now that he is part of his new team and debuting for them well on Saturday against the Chicago Bulls, L.A. Clippers forward Tobias Harris' confidence is at an all-time high. Slated to participate in the 3-point shootout come All-Star Weekend as a player of the host city, he recently named who he thinks will win the competition.

The 25-year-old Tennessee product first said that he feels blessed to be chosen as one of the contestants despite being dominated by guards. Harris then acknowledged, via ClutchPoints' Tomer Azarly, that there's more pressure now that he is a part of the Clippers, but still believes he will win it.

Harris is currently enjoying another solid season with averages of 18.1 points, on 40.9 percent from beyond the arc, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 32.6 minutes per game, mostly with the Detroit Pistons. He was part of the blockbuster deal centered around Blake Griffin and is now expected to play a bigger role for the Clippers, who are still in the hunt for one of the last playoff spots in the Western Conference.

If Harris' claim for the 3-point contest comes to fruition, it will also be his chance to get more respect for his ability as a knockdown shooter from beyond the arc. Since he entered the league, Harris has made a name for himself as a strong slasher with a decent stroke from the perimeter, but if he wins the shootout, opponents will have more reason to cover him from long distance, although he'd be more confident with his stroke by then.
