It has been a roller coaster career for Sean Kilpatrick. After going undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft, Kilpatrick has played for more than five teams, including some G-League affiliated. In 2016, Kilpatrick joined the Brooklyn Nets and many people believed that he had found a stable home, especially after he scored 13 points per game from the bench. It turned out that Kilpatrick would still have to fight to be on a NBA roster after he recently got waived from the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.

However, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Kilpatrick may have another chance of redemption on a NBA roster.

Clippers are signing guard Sean Kilpatrick to a 10-day contract, league sources tell ESPN. He will be eligible for an NBA playoff roster. Bucks waived him on Friday.

This is an interesting move for the Clippers. Austin Rivers and Lou Williams have handled most of the backcourt duties for the Clippers. Though Patrick Beverly has been sidelined for the rest of the season after surgery, so Kilpatrick could get some playing time early on.

In addition, this transaction was timely on the Clippers part. Kilpatrick will be eligible to play in the postseason this year and can provide some assistance from the bench this year. After all, he has proved himself to be a reliable role player in the past.

Nonetheless, Kilpatrick needs to prove that he can be more of a role player. Switching from team to team isn't a good look and if he fails to play well for the Clippers, his NBA career could be in jeopardy. Hopefully, Kilpatrick can shine in his new role with the Clippers and increase his value this season.
