We have more Call of Duty rumors rounded up, this time talking about the 2021 COD entry. This year's game, which might be called Call Of Duty: Vanguard. It's already been confirmed that Sledgehammer Games, the developers for WWII and Advanced Warfare, will be developing Vanguard as well. The new information from our rumor mill has something to do with a different developer but still refers to Vanguard.

Call of Duty leakers suggest Treyarch working on 2021 COD Zombies Mode

Charlie Intel reported on these rumors over the weekend, informing us of the possibilities to come. Based on tweets of known COD leakers, it looks like Treyarch will also be working on Vanguard. While Sledgehammer will be the ones handling the game's main campaign, Treyarch seems to be scheduled to collaborate for the game's Zombies Mode. Treyarch has been doing a great job with Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and COD Warzone‘s Zombies Mode so far. Hence, it's not hard to imagine that Activision would like them to work on the next game's Zombies Mode as well.

The rumors stem from a tweet by The Cheeseburger Boys, which reads: “Hey Treyarch, can you guys pretty please do a Year 2 of Cold War Zombies?? Or I mean… If not, maybe help out or do the zombies this year?”

Another COD leaker, Nanikos, doubled down on this statement, replying to the original tweet, saying: “To clarify. Treyarch is working in collaboration with Sledgehammer for this years' zombies.”

Even without official confirmation yet, it's not surprising if this turns out to be true. Activision really lets different studios work collaboratively on Call of Duty titles. Treyarch has been involved in COD Warzone, which has been done in collaboration with Infinity Ward and Raven Software. Treyarch also worked with Raven Software for Black Ops Cold War.
