In the last several months, Damian Lillard has been quite vocal through social media providing his opinions and perspectives on various topics concerning the NBA.

In one of his latest posts, Lillard said that he would like his team to somehow pursue Paul George, among other players, this offseason. During a recent Q&A session on Twitter, the Portland Trail Blazers All-Star point guard was asked what teams he would like to or consider playing for if his Blazers straight up told him they didn't want him.

This opens up a whole new channel of dialogue surrounding Lillard's future with the Trail Blazers. He is just in the second year of his five-year, $139.8 million deal that he inked back in July 2015. Anytime a possible trade scenario has been brought up involving Lillard, the Trail Blazers shut them down almost immediately.

Lillard has become the face of the franchise since the departure LaMarcus Aldridge to the San Antonio Spurs via free agency two summers ago. He has helped form one of the league's most dynamic backcourts alongside C.J. McCollum over the last two years. Lillard is coming off a season where he averaged a career-high 27.0 points with 5.9 assists, and 4.9 rebounds per game.

That said, the Los Angeles Lakers are in need of finding the next face of the franchise since Kobe Bryant retired. Lillard could easily slip into that role with Los Angeles while providing the team with a superstar player to build around.

As for the Utah Jazz, the organization has built a promising team around their core group of Gordon Hayward, Rudy Gobert, and Derrick Favors. However, their contending nature solely relies on the futures of both Hayward and point guard George Hill, will re-sign with Utah in free agency this upcoming summer.
