With all the wheeling and dealing the Boston Celtics went through so far in this summer, it's understandable if Danny Ainge is not updated with the latest trends on social media — if he ever was updated is actually another question. That was evident recently on a video he posted on Twitter.

It showed him defending his son, Crew, while playing pickup basketball in their home. Things did not go according to plan for him as he was on the receiving end of a vicious poster slam. However, what caught the attention of many is when he hilariously added the hashtag “Driveby dunk challenge”, as he thought the video showed just that.

The challenge has become the latest craze that has taken social media by storm. Some famous athletes have joined in on it and filmed themselves getting out of their vehicles to dunk on a random house’s court in the driveway.

During his playing days, Ainge made a name for himself as a good shooter and perimeter defender for the C’s. He became a two-time NBA champion and was also named an All-Star back in 1988. He may have had a successful career as a player, but now 58-years-old, it was very clear that he was no-match for his son, who has committed to play for Utah State next season. It also may not be a bad idea to orient him about the Drive-by dunk challenge, as it’s obviously not about getting dunked on.
