Former NBA point guard, Delonte West recently hit the news cycle again after his mugshot went viral. Days after his arrest, West was spotted looking unwell in a heartbreaking video clip.

It appears West is walking around aimlessly in a parking lot in the video clip, per Michael J. Babcock of TMZ Sports. He also looks a bit strung out. It's a sad moment as Delonte West was arrested after he was “found unconscious on the street.”

West reportedly visits that area quite frequently, according to TMZ Sports. Eye witnesses claim the former NBA point guard is typically more put together than he is in the video.

“While West is known to hang in that particular parking lot, witnesses say he's usually much more with it and friendly than how he was acting this week.”This incident happens literally days after Delonte West was arrested. He reportedly resisted arrest and suffered a medical emergency while in pursuit. West was give Narcan, a drug used to help treat narcotic overdoses.

It's been a tough time for Delonte West over the years since his NBA career ended after the 2011-12 season. There was a moment where Mark Cuban stepped in and helped the former Dallas Mavericks point guard. Cuban helped Delonte West enter rehab and he was doing well at first. He even tried out for Ice Cube's Big 3 basketball league in 2022.

But it appears West is back in a bad spot again. Hopefully, he can eventually get the help he needs and stay healthy once and for all. It's unfortunate Delonte West's life has taken this turn.

Delonte West played as a point guard in the NBA for eight seasons. During his tenure, West played for the Boston Celtics, Seattle Supersonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Dallas Mavericks. He averaged 9.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.
