Luol Deng has been trying to find his home in the NBA ever since he was traded from the Chicago Bulls in 2014. For the past two years that home has been the Miami Heat.
Deng helped in trying to fill the void that LeBron James left after deciding to go back to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Deng had a successful two years with the Heat and helped them through two seven-game series in last year's playoffs.
Although his time in Miami had its bright spots, Luol Deng decided to leave South Beach and move on to the Los Angeles Lakers with a 4-year, $72 million deal. But Deng did show his gratifications toward the Heat organization and their fans by posting a farewell Instagram post.

Luol Deng had season averages of 12.3 points and six rebounds per game last year for the Heat, and he will be a strong veteran presence for the rebuilding Lakers.
