Diablo 2 Resurrected‘s trailer shows off brand-new cinematics for the game. On-brand for Blizzard's amazing cinematics, this new one features the Lord of Terror himself.

Don't be fooled, though. While Diablo 2 Resurrected's remade graphics do really look good compared to the original's, this cinematic trailer shouldn't be taken as a representative of the game's graphics. Still, the Lord of Terror's intimidating appearance from this new Diablo 2 Resurrected trailer should let you know how devilish he will be in the game. The Lord of Terror will be the final boss in Diablo 2 Resurrected, so it will be a while before we have to face this monstrous beast. But still, it's going to take some courage to face someone like The Lord of Terror, especially after watching the trailer.

Diablo 2 Resurrected will launch on September 23, 2021. Impressions from the Early Access multiplayer beta have been good so far, and it feels like it's going to be a faithful remake of the old classic. However, Activision Blizzard continues to be embroiled in controversy as issues arising from their treatment of their employees continue to wreak havoc for them. It's highly likely that these controversies will hurt Diablo 2 Resurrected‘s release, regardless of the game's quality. We hope that the employees will get their due, but we also hope that the hard work the developers have put into this will not go to waste.
