In light of the recently surfaced video of Diddy unmercifully beating his ex, Peloton is eliminating all his music from their workouts.

TMZ reported that the company posted a statement on its Facebook page confirming it is done with the disgraced rap mogul. PeloBuddy.com also annoucned that they won't use his music anymore.

Peloton will not use Diddy music anymore

It started with members sharing their concerns on social media about Diddy's music being part of their workouts.

In a response, the company said, “Thank you for sharing your concerns. We take this issue very seriously and can confirm Peloton has paused the use of Sean Combs' music, as well as removed the Bad Baoy Entertainment Artist Series on our platform. This means our instructors are no longer using his music in any newly produced classes. Again, thank you for sharing your concerns and thank you for being a Member of our Peloton community.”

On the site, a banner reads: “Peloton will no longer use Sean ‘Diddy' Combs' music & songs in new Peloton classes.”

It adds, “This means that Peloton will not be using any Diddy songs in new classes moving forward — for the time being. However, Peloton is also not currently purging any old class that has his songs in them. The one exception to this is that classes from the two featured artists series that highlighted Bad Boy Entertainment are being removed. There were two different featured artist series for Bad Boy Entertainment — one in 2021 and another in 2023.”

Combs isn't the first rap star to be removed by the company. In 2022, Kanye West's music was stopped due to his antisemitic remarks.

Diddy's recent public apology isn't exactly doing the trick to help him regain popularity after a 2016 video surfaced showing him assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. The incident happened at L.A.'s InterContinental Hotel, where you can see him kick her, drag her down a hallway, grab her by the neck, and shove her to the ground.

In his weak apology, the rapper said, “It's so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that. I was f— up — I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.”

The remarks landed with a thud. A lot of it was due to its insincerity and lack of apology towards Cassie.

PEOPLE reported that Ventura's lawyer said of the video, “Combs' most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt.”

Beyond Peloton, we'll see how many other companies or ties to Diddy will get rid of him. The video is hard to watch and adds to the validity of other accusations against the mogul.
