Earlier this week, the Miami Dolphins received terrible news in regards to Kendrick Norton. The Dolphins defensive tackle was involved in a car crash that saw him suffer severe injuries.

According to the Sun-Sentinel, Norton's condition has been upgraded to stable. Norton's football career is over after the defensive tackle had to have his left arm amputated in the crash. A few days ago, his agent took to social media to express his joy that Norton made it out alive.

“It’s sinking in … I’m just glad ma boi’s Alive,” Malki Kawa, Norton’s agent, posted on social media late Thursday following the incident. “I could be helping to plan a funeral right now… Instead, praise God HES ALIVE AND WILL BE FINE … #prayersup4bignort.”

The Dolphins interior defensive lineman was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. After failing to stick on the Panthers roster, the Dolphins decided to take a chance on Norton this offseason. Unfortunately, Norton won't be able to suit up for the Dolphins but this doesn't mean this is the last we've heard from him.

Norton's situation goes to show how fast things can change around you—sometimes for the worse. That's why people shouldn't waste their time worrying about uncontrollable things but rather telling everyone around them that they love them.

Undoubtedly, Norton is thankful and optimistic after he was able to survive through this car crash that saw his car roll over. Norton will have a new perspective on life and he will have everyone rooting for him every step of the way after football.
