The Miami Dolphins are expected to hire Green Bay Packers run game coordinator/inside linebackers coach Patrick Graham as their defensive coordinator, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Of course, the Dolphins are not making any hires official right now, as their probable new head coach, New England Patriots defensive coordinator Brian Flores, is preparing for the Super Bowl.

Flores and Graham have coached together before.

Flores has been a member of the Patriots' coaching staff since 2004, and during that time, Graham served for New England for seven years, working in a variety of roles between 2009 and 2015.

The Pats represented Graham's first NFL coaching job in 2009, as he started out as a defensive coaching assistant. After two years in that role, Graham was named the Patriots' linebackers coach for one year. He then became the team's defensive line coach in 2012, holding that post for two seasons before moving back to linebackers coach in 2014.

After spending two more years coaching New England's linebackers, Graham moved to the New York Giants in 2016, taking over as the team's defensive line coach.

Graham stayed with the Giants for two seasons before jumping to the Packers for the 2018 campaign.

The 39-year-old also spent a few years coaching in college, spending time with Wagner, Richmond and Notre Dame before finally making the jump to the NFL in 2009.

The Dolphins won seven games in 2018 and are revamping their coaching staff after parting ways with head coach Adam Gase, who ended up taking the New York Jets job after being fired.
