Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores announced on Wednesday that the team is going have a representative at Colin Kaepernick's workout on Saturday. Flores said the team is trying to do their due diligence on all available players.

Kaepernick's representatives told the NFL on October 10th they had received little response from NFL teams. On Tuesday the NFL sent out a memo to all NFL teams saying the workout would happen in Atlanta on Saturday with all teams welcome to attend.

“Earlier this year, we discussed some possible steps with his representatives and they recently emphasized his level of preparation and that he is ready to work out for clubs and be interviewed by them. We have therefore arranged this opportunity for him to work out, and for all clubs to have the opportunity to evaluate his current readiness and level of interest in resuming his NFL career.”

According to ESPN, Kaepernick's representatives want a list of teams that will be attending to make sure that this just isn't  PR stunt by the league office.

The workout is going to be closed to the public and media but will be put on by former NFL coaches, although who exactly will be running it is unclear.

It's unclear how many more teams are planning on attending but the Dolphins are the first team to confirm that they will be attending.

Usually, Saturdays are for college football but on Saturday in Atlanta, there are going to be a lot of interested folks wondering if this is the break Kaepernick needs to get his next shot in the league.
