The newly proposed CBA deal has been controversial to say the least. A lot of players have spoken out against it, due to the 17th regular season game that they want to add.

However, not everyone is against the deal. Some players have spoken out in support of the new deal. And it looks like the deal has another supporter in the form of Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Trey Wingo posted a video on Twitter of the Miami Dolphins' quarterback explaining his process and why he was voting “yes” to the deal.

It sounds like Fitzpatrick really took this thing seriously. He speaks about considering the deal for a while. The QB also says that he spoke with players who were voting yes, and players who were voting no. However, that's not all. He also spoke to people who were part of the new deal's creation and people who were there during the meetings.

After all that research, Fitzpatrick seems to believe the good of the deal outweighs the bad. And he has voted “yes”.

This is not “shocking” because it's the wrong move. It's shocking because it's the unpopular move.

The reason it isn't wrong is because it's Fitzpatrick's feelings. He is allowed to vote for the direction he believes will benefit himself and his fellow players the most.

That being said, it looks like the majority of NFL players don't agree with that. At least when it comes to the players that are outspoken about the deal, it appears like most of them are firmly against the deal.

With that in mind, it will be interesting to see who else comes out in support or against the deal in the coming days. It will also be interesting to see what happens with the deal. We'll see if the players ultimately turn it down or accept it in the end.
