The inevitable rage of Draymond Green made its first appearance in the NBA Finals and it took until Game 3 for it to finally happen.
The Golden State Warriors forward was hit with a technical foul after failing to get a call at the offensive end after posting up Kyrie Irving and getting called for one at the defensive end in an attempt to defend Cleveland Cavaliers forward Richard Jefferson in transition.
Green consequently went off after hitting the ground and hearing the whistle, confronting referee Monty McCutchen, who didn't hesitate to assess the technical before teammate Kevin Durant could properly restrain him.
Durant tried his best to avoid the situation, but Green was determined to give the official a piece of his mind, resulting in his third technical foul of the playoffs and first of the series.
Green has struggled from the field, shooting only 1-of-5, but added six rebounds, six assists, a steal, and a block in his 17 minutes during the first half.
He'll have to watch his foul trouble closely, as he'll start the third quarter with three as the Warriors lead 67-61.
