Now that the season is over, many players take their much needed vacations to spend more time with family and friends. For Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Chris Paul, and Carmelo Anthony, they usually travel together every summer to remote locations and have some well-deserved R&R.
Their summer tradition has been well-documented as well, especially on social media, and they have been fondly called the “Banana Boat Crew”, owing to photos of them riding one last year.
They have been good friends for more than 10 years now, and have been hanging out together since their early days in the league. Wade even took to his Instagram account on Thursday to share a throwback picture of the four of them back in 2006.

Following the loss of James and his Cleveland Cavaliers in the Finals, speculations have emerged that they might be planning on joining forces and form a “super team” of their own to challenge the Golden State Warriors down the road. However, there will be a lot of complications for that to come into fruition starting with their contract situations, as well as the ability of a team to fit all their salaries in their books.
For now, their fans can only imagine how fun it would be to see them all wearing the same jersey. Their experience and skillsets can definitely give the Dubs a run for their money. Although very unlikely, stranger things have happened in the NBA, and there’s still a chance for it, which could change the landscape of the entire league.
