The NFL postponed three games in Week 15, including the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Washington Football Team. Along with the other games, the NFC East matchup was pushed back in order to allow teams to deal with their COVID-19 outbreaks. The Eagles have had very few cases of COVID-19 come through their organization. In this case, the game was postponed in favor of Washington, with over 20 players on the COVID-19 list.

The Eagles, who are desperately trying to grab late season wins for a spot in the playoffs, are not happy. Cornerback Darius Slay wasn't shy in sharing his opinion on the schedule change Friday afternoon. Safety Rodney McLeod also voiced his opinion, virtually shaking his head.

These guys aren't the only ones who think it's unfair. Fox Sports Analyst and former Eagles linebacker Emmanuel Acho validated their emotions on “Speak for Yourself” Friday afternoon.

Acho acknowledged that the league changed the date of this game (and the other two games) to avoid costing players their safety and a paycheck. However, the schedule change results in less preparation time for Week 16, which could cost the Eagles in injuries and playoff paychecks. “The very thing the NFL is trying to avoid, they are simply going to end up entangled with once again, particularly for the Philadelphia Eagles. All the NFL did was take one set of problems, and hand the Eagles a whole other set of problems,” Acho said.

After their delayed Week 15 matchup against the Washington Football Team, the Eagles will face the Giants in another divisional matchup on Sunday of Week 16.
