There's a reason for pretty much everything in Disney+ show WandaVision, including SWORD turning into a bunch of literal clowns when entering Wanda's little town of paradise.
On the most recent episode of the Disney+ offering, Wanda's world was becoming undone mostly due to situations outside her control. While we previously discussed her dealing with the return of her alleged brother, today's post is on the entire SWORD situation — which, I guess, you might call an Easter Egg, even if it's just part of the story flow.
Why did SWORD become clowns
The answer to this is rather simple. As mentioned in the show itself, the people in WandaVision who end up in Wanda's fake town aren't fully changed, but come representations of themselves. Or, for most, a depiction as to how Wanda views them.
Given what SWORD is, especially what they represent to Wanda, they become literal clowns. That's right. the big question of “why did SWORD become clowns” comes with the easy answer of: Wanda views them as a joke.
Listen, that's literally it. It's not an insanely complicated matter or a situation that needs increased digging. While that might apply to just about everything else in WandaVision, for this specific situation, SWORD are a bunch of clowns.
Nonetheless, with all the theories constantly popping out about the show and the like — as well as some viewers who need to take a chill pill, enjoying what they can and moving on — it's making for a largely entertaining experience.
There's only a few more episodes of WandaVision left. It'll be interesting to see what's left in store for Wanda, Vision, and even SWORD. But as fun, what's in story for all our conspiracy theory riddled brains… and that's not factoring in whatever huge twists the show has in store for us. Hooray!
