It is no secret that George Russell gets bombarded with questions about his future with Mercedes, though he reveals that it's unprofessional to start thinking about it before the F1 season comes to an end.

After months of speculation, the young Brit was finally announced as a 2022 Mercedes driver earlier this year as he stacks up alongside fellow countryman Sir Lewis Hamilton. It's certainly caused a massive stir within the media and with the F1 season coming to a close, it seems that Russell constantly gets asked about his future at Mercedes.

Russell reveals that he's aware that there is an excitement about his future with Mercedes, but admits that he still has a job to finish at Williams.

Via Motorsport:

“Obviously, I get asked a lot of questions regarding the Mercedes move next year, but I think it is unprofessional if I start thinking ahead too quick or too early,” Russell said when asked if his Mercedes move was already on his mind. He reitirates, “I am giving as much effort into this season and the remaining races as I ever have.”

It's definitely great to see that despite such a gigantic move to Mercedes, Russell seems to have an understanding of how to keep his feet on the ground while aiming for the stars.
