Since joining the Boston Celtics as an undrafted rookie last season, Tacko Fall has emerged as an absolute fan favorite. He may not exactly be the most important player on the squad, but he's definitely well-loved by Boston fans all over.

Just recently, Fall reaffirmed his loyalty to the Celtics, saying how he'd like to remain in Boston for as long as he possibly can:

“I tell a lot of people, if I could retire here, I probably would,” Fall said, via Trevor Hass of boston.com.

That's great to hear for Celtics fans, especially considering how the 7-foot-5 big man has become an admired figure in the team. Then again, you have to take into consideration that the NBA is a business. Fall did not exactly impress on the basketball court last term, having played just seven games for the C's all season long. Now whether or not Boston will want him on the squad for the long term is an altogether different question.

Nonetheless, Fall continued to talk up the squad. According to the 24-year-old, he's absolutely found a home with the Celtics:

“You can tell when someone really wants you and believes in you,” Fall said. “That’s something that I really felt from Boston right away.”

Fall signed a two-way contract with Boston in October of last year, and it remains to be seen if the Celtics will be offering him a new deal for the 2020-21 campaign. If you were to ask him, however, you know what he's going to say about that.
