The Green Bay Packers snuck out a solid win in Week 1 against their NFC North divisional rivals, the Chicago Bears.

In doing so, they moved to 1-0. However, Aaron Rodgers wasn't exactly his usual dominant self. Yes, he had an amazing drive that led to the only touchdown of the game. Outside of that though, it was a snoozer.

Rodgers ended with 203 passing yards and one touchdown (no interceptions). It's led to people once again bringing up the fact that he might be slowing down.

With that in mind, what should you expect from Aaron Rodgers in Week 2 when it comes to Fantasy Football?

There are a few things you have to look at when wondering this. First, let's look at that Week 1 performance. Something people seem to be ignoring is the competition.

Rodgers and the Packers squared off with the Bears. A team that had the most intimidating and dominant defense in the NFL last year. Also a team that has a defense this season that could possibly be an improvement from 2018.

Outside of a few exceptions, the Bears slowed down every quarterback last year. Remember what they did to Jared Goff? He went 20-for-44 with just 180 yards and no touchdowns compared to four interceptions.

This is a defense that can do terrible things to a quarterback. With that in mind, a Week 1 performance like the one Rodgers put up wasn't bad at all.

Now let's look at his Week 2 matchup. Things get easier, but they're still not fun. The Minnesota Vikings defense might not be as stingy as Chicago's, but they're a tall task all the same.

However, Rodgers doesn't need to go against scrub defenses to put up a fine performance.

Yes, he does have the weapons issue. Outside of Davante Adams, the weapons are questionable.

That being said, Marquez Valdes-Scantling seems to be a legitimate deep threat and has tons of speed. Meanwhile, Rodgers and tight end Jimmy Graham have clearly grown some chemistry and that could end up being a very dangerous duo.

With that in mind, things are a little different. Sure, it would still be nice if the weapons were a little better and had some more depth to them. However, it's not Adams or bust anymore.

Rodgers now has a few reliable toys to play with and that's all he needs.

Now, the Packers are facing a solid defense and still aren't loaded offensively. With that in mind, you should probably temper expectations on the quarterback a little bit.

Don't go into Week 2 expecting him to put up ridiculous numbers. 400 yards and four touchdowns is out of the question. In fact, 350 yards and three touchdowns is out of the question as well.

That doesn't mean he can't put up extremely productive numbers though. 300-plus yards and two-plus touchdown passes are definitely in the realm of possibility. Aaron Rodgers has done more with less.

With all that in mind, the answer is pretty simple. Aaron Rodgers should probably be your QB1. He'll stay away from turnovers and get you steady production. Unless you have someone like Patrick Mahomes on your roster, Rodgers is a safe bet at quarterback. Not many will consistently outproduce him on a weekly basis. Week 2 is no different.

Expect solid numbers that can help your team win in Week 2 from Rodgers. But at the same time, don't expect the Packers' quarterback to single-handedly win you the week.
