Former NBA player Sebastian Telfair could face 15 years of jail time.

According to TMZ Sports, a jury convicted the 33-year-old Telfair of “felony criminal possession of a weapon” on April 24. Police discovered guns, ammunition, a bulletproof vest, and marijuana in Telfair's car during a routine traffic stop in June 2017.

Ex-NBA star Sebastian Telfair has been convicted of possessing a firearm…and could be sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Telfair — a 33-year-old former high school phenom who spent 12 seasons in the NBA — was busted back in June 2017 in Brooklyn — after cops found several weapons during a traffic stop.

Officials say Telfair — who played with the (Portland) Trail Blazers, (Boston) Celtics, (Los Angeles) Clippers, and (Minnesota) Timberwolves, to name a few — had 3 pistols and what appeared to be a semi-automatic rifle.

Cops say he was also carrying a ton of ammo and a bulletproof vest — as well as some weed.

Telfair pled not guilty and fought the charges…but was found guilty by a jury in NYC of felony criminal possession of a weapon, according to our law enforcement sources.

Telfair's estranged wife, Samantha Telfair, testified against the former NBA hoopster on April 15, per The New York Post's Emily Saul. She told the jury she had seen Telfair with multiple weapons.

Telfair's mistress, Caterina Scotto, confessed to the jury she helped transport Telfair's vehicles from Florida to New York City. Scotto also admitted she rented storage units for Telfair and told the jury she saw him brandishing a gun several times in the past.

This isn't the first time Telfair has gotten in trouble with the law. Police discovered he had a loaded handgun in his car on April 20, 2007. They asked him to pull over after they caught him speeding along the Bronx River Parkway.

Telfair pled guilty to criminal possession of a weapon in September 2008. A judge gave him three years' probation. The NBA suspended Telfair, who was playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves, for three regular-season games as a result.

Telfair averaged 7.4 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 564 career regular-season games.
