The final match of the Group Stage is here as France battles Poland on Tuesday in Germany. We're here to share our Euro odds series, make a France-Poland prediction, and pick while showing you how to watch.

France played to a scoreless draw with the Netherlands in the second match of the group stage. Regrettably, for the Heaxagon, they could not do much despite numerous chances.

Things started scary for France when Jeremie Frimpong maneuvered near the net and got his shot on target, but it just trickled past it harmlessly. But France got the next chance when Antoine Griezmann had an opportunity but could not make contact with the net. Griezmann had another chance in the 14th minute, but it just barely missed the target.

The Netherlands appeared to take the lead in the 70th minute on a rebound kick into the net. However, the referees flagged the Dutch for offsides. Neither team could muster a goal the rest of the way, and the match finished in a draw.

Poland lost 3-1 to Austria in their second group-stage match and are 0-2 in the 2024 Euros and have officially been eliminated. Unfortunately, things started rocky for them when they allowed Gernot Trauner to deliver a header to put Austria ahead in the ninth minute. But Poland fought back when Krzysztof Piatek leveled the match with a goal.

But Poland could not swing the momentum back in their favor, as they allowed Christoph Baumgartner to blast the ball into the net on an assist from Alexander Prass. Finally, they got a penalty kick thanks to a yellow card, which meant Marko Arnautovic got the chance to deliver a beautiful kick into the net to seal this one.

France and Poland have met 17 times in their history. Significantly, France has won nine times, with Poland winning three, and five matches resulting in a draw. France defeated Poland 3-1 in their last matchup in the Round of 16 during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Why France Will Win

France had numerous golden chances to score and even win this match. However, the chances did not result in a goal, so the match ended up in a draw. Yet, what is even more concerning for France is that no one on offense has netted a goal yet through two Euro matches. Remember, the French notched their only goal because of an own goal in the opener.

France did not fail without trying. Amazingly, the French fired off 15 shots but just three hit the target. France had a ridiculous 93 percent pass accuracy. Likewise, the 58 percent possession rate helped build more chances.

The offense struggled without Kylian Mbappe, who sat out this one with a broken nose. Sadly, the offense was quiet. Thuram had two shots but could not connect on either. Meanwhile, Ousmane Dembele also could not connect on his two shots. Griezmann took five shots, with three on target. However, he still does not have a point in the Euros.

The defense was stout, delivering a 57 percent tackle success rate. Therefore, goalkeeper Mike Maignan had an easy day, as he only needed to make four saves.

France will cover the spread if they can get some offense going. Then, the defense must continue to play stingy.

Why Poland Will Win

Poland was punchless on offense again in this one. Unfortunately, three shots on target out of 12 attempts will not win most matches. Poland had an 80 percent pass accuracy rate. Yet, they only had a 44 percent possession rate. The offense struggled to get anything going and has netted just two goals over two matches.

Piatek did his job, registering a goal on two shots. Yet, Adam Buska could not score in this one after hitting the back of the net in the first match. Robert Lewandowski still has not gotten on the board and could not figure it out over 30 minutes.

The defense was basically okay, netting a 49 percent tackle rate. However, the defenders also committed four yellow cards, which is not a recipe for success. It seems like Poland needs to play perfect defense to have a chance to win. Unfortunately, they have not been able to play the style of game they want to play. Jan Bednarek had three clears and now has eight total. Likewise, Jakub Kiwior had two clears and currently has six total. But these two need to do more, especially in a battle against the overwhelming favorites.

Poland will cover the spread if the defense can contain the deep French attack and not allow too many chances. Then, Poland needs someone to score.

Final France-Poland Prediction & Pick

Poland has nothing to play for. However, the Polish could take pride and do everything in their power to ruin France's chances. France is the heavy favorite in this one. Furthermore, they have not played a complete game yet with the dominant play they are accustomed to. We expect France to finally awaken from its slumber and connect on a few goals. Consequently, the French would be too powerful for Poland to contend with.
