The NBA playoffs carry on Friday with a trio of Game 3's. The Knicks will take on the Hawks in Atlanta, the Nets are in Boston against the Celtics and the Clippers crawl into Dallas down 2-0 against the Mavericks.

All three road teams have different scenarios in front of them. The Knicks are deadlocked 1-1, the Nets have a commanding 2-0 lead and the Clippers have tailspun themselves into an 0-2 deficit. Yet, this will be the night of the road teams in the NBA playoffs.

Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers have looked flat out dreadful so far against the Mavericks. The defense has been awful and the offense has consisted of isolation ball amongst an array of players. T

his is a team that had legitimate title aspirations and all of a sudden they lose back-to-back contests at home to start the playoffs. But it's unfathomable to expect this Clippers team with all that talent to fold up and go down 3-0. All the credit in the world goes to the Mavericks and what they have done in the NBA playoffs so far against LA, but this Clippers team has too much to trail any series 3-0. They are favored tonight on the road and this is the game Tyronn Lue's club gets to try and make things interesting.

Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden will waltz into Boston without a worry in the world. The Celtics are beat up with injuries, looked completely outmatched in the first two games of the series, and are facing a super team. Not the most ideal situation for any squad in the NBA postseason.

This series just has sweep written all over it. All season many have been waiting for the Celtics to “wake up” and it just never happened. Now with Jaylen Brown being sidelined for the year and Jayson Tatum dealing with an eye injury, it seems too much to even expect Boston to get a game in this series. The Nets are favored by 8 points tonight and rightfully so, they will win.

Tom Thibodeau and the New York Knicks are the only road underdog on this Friday slate. But fear not, New York.

Trae Young has been in his bag the first two games of this series scoring at least 30 in both contests. Atlanta looked poised to go up 2-0 on the Knicks before Thibodeau's suffocating defense held the Hawks to 35 total points in the second half on Wednesday.

Here's the kicker with this series: both games have been super close and Julius Randle and RJ Barrett have both been wildly inefficient on offense. There's just no way that lasts the entire series.

Randle went 6-23 in Game 1 from the floor and 5-16 in Game 2. This is the dude who just won NBA Most Improved Player while torching the Hawks in their three regular season matchups. Call it crazy but playing outside of the Garden might be better for Randle at this moment to calm some of the jitters. Expect a big bounce back from Randle in Game 3 along with Barrett. Barrett shot a clean 40% from three-point range this season yet in the first two games of this series, he's 3-11. Again, law of averages suggest that will flip. The Knicks are 4.5 point dogs on the road Friday but they take this one outright in “The A.”

Friday's slab of games are filled with intriguing matchups in series' that are all at different stages for the road teams. Tonight though, one thing will be the same amongst the group; they'll all win.
