Friday was a spectacular day in the sporting world. MLB games, NBA games, and the Master's Tournament were all seen across the world. However, history was made between the MLB and NBA, as we witnessed great performances between three professional athletes, per SportsCenter.

Joe Musgrove, a San Diego native, threw the first no-hitter in franchise history on the same night Zach LaVine and Jayson Tatum both dropped 50+ plus points. It's the first time in history anything like this has happened on the same night, making April ninth one for the history books.

Musgrove finished with 10 strikeouts and only allowing one baserunner throughout the entire game against the Texas Rangers. Additionally, Zach LaVine scored 50 points for the Chicago Bulls that didn't equate to a win. On the other hand, the Boston Celtics secured a victory with the help of Jayson Tatum's 53 points.

A thrilling night for sports fans who love both sports. Pitching a no-no is one of the most difficult feats in all of sports, and it's not every day we see an NBA player drop 50 points.

The Padres are off to a hot start going 5-3 to start the season. The franchise has done everything they can to finally build a solid roster. Musgrove's no-hitter only builds confidence in this team. As for the Bulls and Celtics, both teams are fighting for playoff position. LaVine has been lights out all season long, while Tatum continues to be the superstar player in Boston.

With multiple games in the MLB and NBA, could we witness another historic night in a second consecutive day in a row? Only time will tell.
