Spike Chunsoft has announced the release date for Danganronpa Decadence. The compilation comes out on December 3 for North America and Europe. Its release will also celebrate the series' tenth anniversary. The collection was first announced at the E3 2021 Nintendo Direct.
Danganronpa is a series of games where you play a high-school student trapped in a group of other high-schoolers, as one person slowly kills off the others. The game features investigations and trials as players figure out who the killer is and prove it.
Danganronpa Decadence is a collection of the mainline Danganronpa games. Namely, these are: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. Specifically, the Anniversary Edition remasters of these three will be in Danganronpa Decadence. The Anniversary Editions include enhanced touch controls and UI, a bonus illustration gallery, additional event scenes, character voices and design documents.
Article Continues BelowThe bundle also includes Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp. This is a stand-alone expanded version of the Ultimate Talent Development Plan minigame from Danganronpa V3. It is set in an alternate universe, featuring 67 characters from previous games, in a peaceful environment with no murders. However, Danganronpa Decadence will not include the Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls spin-off.
The game will be available in physical cartridge formats, alongside Standard and Collector's edition variants. Each of the four games will also be available individually on the Nintendo eShop. All games will include both English and Japanese voice-over options.
Danganronpa Decadence comes out for the Nintendo Switch at $59.99 for the Standard Edition. The Collector's Edition will cost $99.99.
