The date for the upcoming Final Fantasy 14 (FFXIV) Live Letter 82, which includes news about the upcoming Patch  7.0 (Dwantrail), as well as some other announcements, has been revealed.

FFXIV Live Letter 81 – June 14, 2024

The announcement included the dates for the upcoming livestream. The FFXIV Letter from the Producer LIVE 82 or Live Letter 82 as game players call it, will happen on June 14, 2024, at 4:00 AM PDT/ 11:00 AM GMT/ 9:00 PM AEST.

Players will be able to watch the live stream on two platforms: YouTube Live and Twitch. A waiting room for the live is already available on YouTube.

Originally, there would also be a live stream on Niconico (Japanese website). However, due to a large-scale cyber attack, Niconico will not be available in the meantime so that the management team can investigate the full extent of the damage.

As for the contents of Live Letter 82, the Lodestone post mentions that the upcoming Live Letter will include “Patch 7.0 News.” It is unknown exactly what news this will include, however, we can expect some follow-up details regarding the upcoming maintenance, launch, and more.

The previous Live Letter 81 saw gave us the much-awaited Job Action trailer, showcasing the new skills, abilities, and spells the various jobs in FFXIV will get in Dawntrail. It also gave us our first glimpse of the Viper and Pictomancer jobs, giving us a preview of what these jobs can do.
