The Utah Jazz will look to avoid an 0-3 hole when they host the Golden State Warriors in Salt Lake City tonight.
The West’s fifth seed will ride the coattails of All-Star swingman Gordon Hayward, who scored a game-high 33 points in the team’s Game 2 loss, and Rudy Gobert, who dominated the glass with 16 rebounds in their last game.
However, it has been reported that starting point guard George Hill will miss his second straight game due to the same left big toe injury that has bugged him all season long, per Jody Genessy of Deseret News Sports.
In the semi finals opener, Hill scored a measly seven points on 3-of-9 shooting from the field. Backup point guard Shelvin Mack, who had a very productive Game 2 with 14 points, three rebounds, four assists, and two steals, will continue manning the point guard spot for the Jazz.
Dante Exum will also get an extended run, but the main bump in usage will continue to be on Hayward.
