By now everyone knows the story of the final Sunday Night Football game of the 2020-21 regular season–an NFC East clash that saw Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson become an even bigger enemy to Joe Judge and the New York Giants.

With Pederson's Eagles not playing for anything against the rival Washington Football Team in Week 17, the Super Bowl-winning head coach elected to bench quarterback Jalen Hurts in favor of third-stringer Nate Sudfeld, something that the Giants head coac took exception with.

Upon speaking with the media on Monday afternoon, Judge wasted absolutely no time in blasting Pederson and the Eagles by stating that he would never pull such a stunt.

Of course, it is worth noting that the Eagles prevented the Giants from ultimately reaching the postseason with the loss to Washington. However, it could have everything to do with Philadelphia “tanking” for a better first round pick in 2021.

Even so, Judge and the Giants will now be forced to watch from the sidelines after taking care of business against the Dallas Cowboys earlier in the day on Sunday.

On the other hand, though, the Giants only won six regular season games in 2020-21 while also producing double-digit losses. The only reason that New York even remained in playoff contention as long as the team did was because of the absolutely atrocious NFC East division.

In any other scenario, the Giants would have been well out of playoff picture, let alone in position to somehow host a postseason game.
