It was a rough game for the New York Giants on Sunday as they had no answers for the Dallas Cowboys. This franchise is in a tough spot as their playoff hopes are dwindling. With Daniel Jones still recovering from an injury, it sounds like Joe Judge already knows who he wants under center in Week 16.

According to Kevin Patra, Joe Judge claims the “Giants will ‘open up a conversation' about starting Jake Fromm.” New York rolled with Mike Glennon against the Cowboys but that turned out to be a complete failure. After throwing for just 99 yards and three interceptions, Judge replaced Glennon with Jake Fromm.

Fromm finished the game throwing for 82 yards off of 12 attempts. He didn't record any touchdowns or interceptions. The Giants received much more efficient quarterback play out of Jake Fromm, even though he played a very limited role. Regardless, Joe Judge must have liked what he saw on Sunday. New York's head coach was very honest with his quarterback situation:

“We got to a point in the game where I wanted to see what Jake could do, point blank. We weren't doing enough moving the ball otherwise, so I wanted to make sure I had the chance to see Jake and that will obviously open up a conversation about what we're going to do this week. We'll talk about it as a staff and we'll make the best decision for the team.”

It's not likely we'll see the Giants in the playoffs, which means the front office is starting to look ahead to the offseason. We'll see how it plays out for New York, as this franchise has been near the bottom of the league for quite some time. Keep an eye on Daniel Jones, as the quarterback situation will be a hot topic in the summer.
