After another bad season, New York Giants fans are looking for someone to hold accountable. However, according to head coach Joe Judge, it's everyone.

Speaking to the media in preparation for their game against the Washington Football Team, who only have two wins this season in the NFC East, Judge emphasized their approach and how they are taking responsibility.

“But the reason I talk about the coaches is because, yeah, we’re all held accountable,” Judge said, per New York Post. “We’re all responsible for how our players are playing, how our units are playing and how our team is playing. That’s our job. We’re measured by the results on the field. Every coach is held accountable like every player is held accountable. It starts with me.’’

However, while he is holding his coordinators accountable as well, he acknowledged that he should take the lead. The Giants are only 1-7 on the season, with their lone win coming against Washington.

“I’m going to hold everybody accountable — that starts with myself,’’ the Giants coach added. “I’m the first one to tell everybody when I screw up, because I demand every player to look in the mirror and have the same criticism of themselves. We’re never going to look at each other and say that wasn’t your fault, sometimes it is your fault and sometimes it’s my fault. We’re going to very open and honest with each other.’’

Joe Judge's way of handling the team and holding everyone, including himself, accountable for their actions and mistakes will hopefully help the Giants get out of the rut they have been in since their last Super Bowl in 2012.

Following Tom Coughlin's departure in 2015, the Giants have had four head coaches over the past five season, with the 2020 campaign being the first season for Judge.
