The New York Giants' struggles continue on Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys. This time, it's the injury bug that bit them after starting quarterback Daniel Jones and wide receiver Kenny Golladay have been ruled out due to various issues.

According to the Giants' update, Jones suffered a concussion while Golladay is dealing with a knee injury.

Daniel Jones suffered the injury after taking a hit while running for the end zone in the final three minutes of the opening half. He was wobbling as he tried to get back from the collision with Jabril Cox, and he had to be helped off the field.

Meanwhile, Kenny Golladay didn't make it past halftime after the Giants announced his knee injury. No further details were revealed, but it was an absolutely brutal blow to the team who were already without Darius Slayton and Sterling Shepard prior to the contest.

It is also worth noting that Saquon Barkley left the game against the Cowboys midway through the first quarter after a nasty ankle injury. The 24-year-old running back accidentally stepped on Dallas CB Jourdan Lewis' foot, causing him to roll it badly. He limped off the field and had to be carted to the locker room, as his injury looked serious based on close-up photos.

The Giants just can't catch a break as they try to string a couple of wins after losing three straight to start the 2021 campaign. Unfortunately, with the injuries they suffered, it doesn't look like their problems will be ending any time soon.
