Before filling up cars with popcorn, NBA rookies had to go through more embarrassing moments during their rookie initiation care of their veteran teammates. In honor of Throwback Thursday, Gilbert Arenas shared a photo on Instagram from the 2007-2008 season, to show what kind of initiation they had their first year teammates do.

Current Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Nick Young can be seen hogtied in the picture with some dollar bills on the bed as well, as it appears like they asked him to do a stripping show.

The two played together for three-and-a-half seasons with the Washington Wizards before Arenas was traded to the Orlando Magic in 2011. Young was also dealt the a year after Arenas and played for the L.A. Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers, before spending the last three seasons with the Lakers,

The Wizards were forced to revamp their roster following a controversial scuffle between their players, which involved firearms that were kept inside their lockers. Since then, NBA teams, as well as the league, came up with set rules banning their players from carrying guns and other deadly weapons.

Safe to say, the photo Arenas posted is far from the dubious actions they did in the dugout that time.
