Gordon Hayward entered the NBA in 2010 as the ninth overall pick of the 2010 draft. Since then, the swingman has made $150,428,542 through NBA contracts, per Spotrac.

The first NBA deal Hayward signed was his rookie contract with the Utah Jazz. It was a two-year, $4.9 million contract. Hayward made $2,356,320 during his rookie season and averaged 5.4 points in 16.9 minutes per game.

During his second season, Gordon Hayward got more playing time and increased his scoring average to 11.8 points. The Indiana native earned $2,038,724.

Things continued to trend in an upward direction for Hayward in his third season. He put up 14.1 points per game while making $2,709,720.

The Jazz and Hayward could have reached a rookie-scale extension before the 2013-14 season started but the two sides didn't. During the 2013-14 campaign, Hayward averaged 16.2 points and made $3,452,183. He entered restricted free agency in the summer of 2014 and signed an offer sheet with the Charlotte Hornets.

However, the Jazz matched the offer sheet to keep Gordon Hayward in Salt Lake City. The talented forward signed a four-year, $63 million contract with Utah. He made $14,746,000 during the 2014-15 season and averaged 19.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists.

So, it was clear Hayward's newfound money wasn't going to affect his performance on the court.

In 2015-16, Hayward put up 19.7 points per game and earned $15,409,570. He was now garnering All-Star consideration and finally made his first All-Star team in 2016-17. Hayward averaged 21.9 points that season and led the Jazz to the second round of the playoffs while making $16,073,140.

In the summer of 2017, Gordon Hayward was an unrestricted free agent and met with the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics. He wound up signing a massive four-year, $127.8 million free-agent deal with the Celtics, who also traded for Kyrie Irving.

Hayward made $29,727,900 in his first season with the Celtics. Unfortunately, he suffered a terrible injury in the opening game of the year against the Cleveland Cavaliers and missed the entire campaign.

The former Butler star returned in 2018-19 and played in 72 games. He made $31,214,295 and averaged 11.5 points. The rust was clearly there for Hayward, though, after he missed an entire season.

Before the 2019-20 campaign was suspended due to COVID-19, Gordon Hayward was set to make $32,700,690. The one-time All-Star was putting up 17.3 points per game for the Celtics before games were suspended.

Whenever the 2020-21 season starts, Hayward will make $34,187,085, as he is widely expected to pick up his player option since he has an injury history now and won't get that type of money on the open market.

Gordon Hayward has career NBA averages of 15.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
