After a couple of solid seasons in the mid-west, forward JaMychal Green is most likely leaving the Memphis Grizzlies in free agency. Green spent the last two and a half years in Tennessee on minimum deals and is likely to get paid this offseason.

According to Green's agent, Michael Hodges, it seems the team isn't offering Green a deal in the range they're looking for. Memphis lost veteran forward Zach Randolph to the Kings and have not made many moves other than signing guard Ben McLemore to a two-year, $10.7 million deal.

Green is a restricted free agent, and according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Memphis made him an offer back on July 1st and are now awaiting an offer sheet from another team.

After going undrafted in the 2012 NBA Draft, Green spent some time with the Spurs before signing a two-year minimum deal with the Grizzlies in March of 2015. Green had career highs in points, rebounds, assists per game, as well as in total steals and blocks this year. With the cap rising substantially, Green is likely to get paid, maybe even more than the Grizzlies value him.
