Atlanta Hawks small forward Solomon Hill suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday's loss to the Charlotte Hornets. Hill was unable to return to the game and the severity of his injury was unknown at the time. On Tuesday, Hawks' general manager Travis Schlenk provided an update on Hill's painful injury that will make Atlanta fans cringe.

Ouch. That sounds like one of the most painful injuries that a player could go through. Hawks forward Solomon Hill won't be on the court for quite some time, given how bad this ailment sounds. No one would blame Atlanta fans if they don't want to read that tweet.

A 10-year NBA veteran, Hill has appeared in 13 games for the Hawks this season, averaging 0.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in a career-low 10.7 minutes per contest. Hill wasn't much of a factor in the Atlanta rotation, though it's still a hit to the Hawks' depth on the wing, which has been tested this year.

Along with Hill, Atlanta has dealt with injuries to Bogdan Bogdanovic, Cam Reddish, and De'Andre Hunter, putting much of the responsibility on star Trae Young.

Young and the rest of the Hawks are currently 10th in the Eastern Conference at 13-12, a solid showing considering what they've dealt with. And what the Hawks have had to deal with just got worse after the painful update on forward Solomon Hill.
